Historically, we have played a vital role in connecting Japanese manufacturers with overseas markets.
Today, while cherishing those foundational relationships, we are evolving into a proactive force in supply and business promotion abroad.
By bridging Japanese technology with global needs, we turn new values into reality.
What We Do
Building on our proven track record in the distribution of Japanese products, our Overseas Business Division works in close collaboration with local partners to expand business possibilities.
Beyond traditional functions like market research, partner selection, contract negotiation, and product supply, we have recently moved toward more hands-on engagement, including tailored proposals that meet specific local needs and direct project involvement.
Business Fields

Global Initiatives
Canada Project
Demonstrating decentralized wastewater treatment in extremely cold environments, this initiative evaluates small-scale Japanese water treatment technology under harsh conditions to explore the potential for sustainable water infrastructure.
In Calgary, Alberta, we are currently promoting a demonstration project using small-scale Japanese wastewater treatment technology.
At its core is a sincere desire to deliver safe water to everyone. Our local partners identified a critical need for safe water in rural and indigenous communities. Water issues are never isolated; upstream pollution spreads downstream, severely impacting entire communities.
To address this, we focused on advanced Japanese small-scale treatment systems already proven in the Philippines. We are now working with the University of Calgary and the AQWA (Advancing Canadian Water Assets) research facility to verify performance in extreme sub-zero environments.
If successful, this simple and sustainable solution will significantly improve living conditions in remote and small-scale communities worldwide.

Initiatives in the Philippines
Challenges in Environmental Infrastructure for Growth Markets Commercializing water treatment solutions that leverage Japanese technology in a market with rapid urbanization and tightening regulations.
We are driving market research and business development in the Philippine water treatment sector. Through participation in the Water Philippines Expo, we monitor market trends and competitor movements to identify opportunities. In response to tightened discharge standards (DAO-2021-19), the demand for decentralized wastewater treatment systems is rising.
In Metro Manila, population growth and urbanization are rapidly expanding infrastructure needs. However, challenges like fragile soil, aging infrastructure, and delays in technology adoption remain. We believe Japanese technical expertise offers significant solutions. Working with local partners, we provide a combination of technology introduction, human resource development, and risk management to build sustainable environmental infrastructure.

Wastewater System Delivery & Performance Evaluation Results
As a nation of many islands, the Philippines faces difficulties in constructing large-scale sewage treatment plants. Many buildings rely on individual underground seepage or illegal discharge into rivers/oceans, making groundwater pollution an urgent issue.
To address this, we provided two wastewater treatment tanks and one cutaway model to the College of Public Health of the University of the Philippines. We hosted an event for government agencies and media to present the performance evaluation of the operating units, the Sewage Treatment Management Program, and our product supply capabilities.
Installing 40-ton Capacity Large-Scale Purification Tanks in Bohol Province
While tourism in the Philippines continues to grow, the lack of sewage systems in many of its 7,000+ islands has led to expanding ocean pollution.
On Bohol Island, the 10th largest in the country, we are installing a large-scale wastewater treatment system at the former government office building. With a 40-ton daily treatment capacity, this project marks a major step toward improving drainage infrastructure in high-urgency regions like Bohol.
Global Collaboration (Japan, Canada, and the Philippines)
Our overseas business goes beyond simple product supply, connecting Japan, Canada, and the Philippines in a unique strategic triangle.
- ・Japanese Technology
- ・Implementation Experience in the Philippines
- ・Performance Verification in Canada
By interlinking these elements, we achieve global value creation. Domestically, we host factory tours for overseas partners and coordinate technical verification with Japanese manufacturers to build trust. Internationally, we focus on establishing firm business foundations through cross-border partnerships.
Business Model
The Overseas Business Division operates beyond mere export. Based on collaboration with domestic manufacturers, it drives business through the following functions:
- ・Investment & Financing
- ・Sales & Distribution Network Development
- ・Technology Introduction & Localization
- ・Strategic Partnership Building
- ・Business Development
Through this approach, we have evolved from selling products to creating businesses.
